Fairyland Goes Tea Party Crazy
Have you heard the news?
She's heard the news.
Taking a well deserved gardening break, they've heard the news.
She doesn't care what the news is as long as she gets some attention. :-)
So? Have you heard the news? Have you sorted out your favourite dress and shoes? Are you ready for the annual Mad Tea Party by A Fanciful Twist?
Follow me down to the bottom of the garden, behind the shed at the base of the insect hotel a magical tiny door appeared.
A Fairy door! Leading us to a magical land where Mad Tea Parties happen almost every day. Don't be shy, just push the door and go through.
The fairies have been waiting for you.
All dressed up in their favourite clothes and hats ready to take tea with you.
Don't tell me you have forgotten your tea party hat? Would you like to borrow one?
Would you like to smell one? Ummmmmm beautiful.
There seems to be a bit of a rose theme. The fairies have saved a very special tea just for this occasion and it's English Rose. Doesn't the girl on the box look familar?
She certainly seems to think so.
Oh! How rude, I haven't offered you anything to eat. Would you like to start with a sweet?
Do you not eat frog sweets in your world? They are lovely with just a little hint of chilli in their legs.
Maybe a Meringue instead?
The fresh cherry makes it extra yummy. :-)
We also have sour cherry and pistachio cakes.
They are so pretty in pink and yellow.
Whoops, I think someone might have had a little too much nectar.
I think we'd better go before the fairies start to get really mischievous and decide to turn us into jellied sweets!
Quick back through the door.
There, back in one piece and safe and sound, I told you there was nothing to worry about. :-)
Now before you go just a couple of notes. First of all I wanted to say a big thank you to Vanessa for once again holding a Mad Tea Party, it's always something to look forward too, even if I do end up dashing around at the last minute. :-)
Secondly I wanted to thank ET Printworks for their wonderful copies of The Enchanted Times that provided me with the inspiration (and the papers). They really are the most gorgeous little fairytale newspapers.
Finally I just wanted to let you know that there is a special offer on at my Etsy Shop. I'm celebrating reaching 200 Facebook likes on my page and crazy midsummer Mad Tea Party wonderfulness. You can get 20% of anything when you use the code TITANIA1 and it's available for the rest of July.
Now go and enjoy all the other wonderful tea parties. I can't wait to visit you all.

The fungi trolls were very excited when they heard the news and couldn't stop talking about it for days.
Of course Agatha ChrisTea was the first to hear about it.

What do you mean they look funny?
Maybe a Meringue instead?
It's like eating a creamy toffee flavoured cloud.

Glad to know that you dashed around at the last minute to create this tea party, because I did the same thing! I am a very good procrastinator. Now i need to check out ET Printworks and the delightful newspapers that the fairyworld reads.
