Wonderings on Feeling a Little like Dr Frankenstein and Giveaway Winner!

I have created a monster!!!  Not content with stealing the gingerbread mans head in my Tea Party, Algernon the rather naughty elf has taken to perching himself on top of my dragon skull on the fire place.

You would have thought that after the weeks of toil it took for me to make him, that he'd be greatful, but oh no, he sits there complaining about how he wants other elves to play with.

Honestly though, I cannot resist his cheeky little face, so armed with patterns and fabrics I aim to make more elves and hopefully keep him quiet for a bit. :-)

Anyway, a huge thank you to everybody who commented on my tea party, it was such a delight to take part again and I am so chuffed about the reaction to my tea cup people.  Thank you!

So........ the giveaway!  I decided to do it the old fashioned way and right the names onto pieces of paper.

The winner was.......

Congratulations Dogs Mom, I shall contact you to arrange sending you your gifts.

Oh! Congratulation to Dogs Mom!
I like that you have named the little one Algernon. Gives me associations to the Victorian poet Algernon Swinburne who was friends with the Pre-raphaelite painters and who was a really interesting person himself.

Congrats to the winner.

And you are right, that face is adorable ;-)
Oh I am delighted he was actualy named after Algernon the poet. Oh and speaking about Pre-Raphaelites, have you seen the british BBC tv-series Desperate Romantic, about the Pre-Raphaelites? You would love it :)
