Wonderings on New Authors and Unicorns

I love my Kindle.  There are many things that I love about it, I can download books in a minute, how much lighter my handbag feels now and the fact that I can still sit and read outside, however the thing that I love about my Kindle most at the moment is how it’s managed to introduce me to new Authors.  The ability to download samples of a book before buying, means that I’m more inclined to try new or self-published writers.  This led me to The Unicorn Crisis by Jon Rosenberg which I have just finished and I loved it.

Here’s the summary from Amazon:

Someone has summoned a Unicorn to a field south of Stratford-upon-Avon causing David Ash's day to go straight to hell. Now he has to confront shotgun wielding drug dealers, murderous strangers and psychotic fairies and all to find out who stole one of Oberon's personal pets. Unicorns, Fairies taken from the writings of Shakespeare, evil doings and mysteries to unravel, well what’s not to love?  

I can’t find much information on the author but he’s definitely been added to my must read list.  I’ve already downloaded the 2^nd in the series, The Digital Wolf, and I can’t wait to get started on it and immerse myself in the world of the Summoners once more.
